The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the premier party of characters who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—used the foes for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could assist the party access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which characters will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
